Zeki Amdouni is heading to this summer's EURO's finals with Switzerland and will be representing the Clarets in Germany, whilst hoping to add to his impressive goalscoring tally for his nation.
The forward's eye-catching goalscoring record in the lead up to the EURO's saw him finish 6th in the UEFA EURO's qualifiers goalscoring charts.
Six goals has the Swiss attacker joint alongside Erling Haaland & Bruno Fernandes in 6th, with only Romelu Lukaku, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, Rasmus Hojlund, Cristiano Ronaldo and Scott McTominay ahead of him.
The 23-year-old striker made his senior debut for Switzerland in September 2022 against Czech Republic and went on to score his first senior goal shortly after against Belarus six months later.
After grabbing his first goal for his country in March 2023, the goals soon followed with the forward finding the back of the net four times in the next three games, taking his overall tally to an impressive five goals in five games prior to joining the Clarets in July last summer.
Called upon once again for Murat Yakin's side in September and October last year, the attacker then bagged his sixth senior goal in a 3-3 draw with Bulgaria whilst earning his 8th cap for his country.
Amdouni was included in the Switzerland squad in November and March, before being named last month in the Red Crosses EURO's squad ahead of this summer's competition.
Prior to heading to Germany, Amdouni and his teammates hosted Estonia last week where the striker bagged once again in his 14th senior game taking his overall goals scored to seven. He also featured in the side's 1-1 home draw against Austria.
