Burnley Football Club’s Academy are excited to be holding open days for aspiring young goalkeepers, giving them the chance to showcase their skills!
The talent identification days will be held at the Club’s state-of-the-art training facilities in Padiham and split into age group sections.
In addition to undertaking goalkeeper specific training drills and tests, the events are an opportunity for players to understand what an elite environment feels like and meet like-minded people.
Full details of each event are listed below:
Wednesday 9th April 2025
Age groups: U8s, U9s & U10s boys (2024/25 age groups)
7.15pm arrival, ready for a 7.30pm start.
Applicants must live within 60 minutes of the venue.
Wednesday 16th April 2025
Age groups: U12s & U15s boys (2024/25 age groups)
7.15pm arrival, ready for a 7.30pm start.
Applicants must live within 90 minutes of the venue.
The full address of the venue is Burnley FC Training Centre, Habergham Drive, BB12 8UA.
Both events will be played on a 4G Astro Turf surface.
Applications will be filtered, and a limited number of places will be offered for each event.
Deadline For Applications:
U8s, U9s & U10s event: Friday 4th April 2025. Successful applicants will be notified by Monday 7th April 2025
U12s & U15s event: Friday 11th April 2025. Successful applicants will be notified by Monday 14th April 2025
