Hello again!
It was good to get our first win of the season under our belt at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night. Happy for the team and delighted for you - the fans!
Our goal, whenever we put on the shirt, whenever we cross that line is always to try and win and your positive support at The City Ground was felt - as always.
We always have a belief in this squad. That’s our mindset.
Collectively we showed a lot of fight. If we look back to last season it’s not so much who you face or who you have in the team - our biggest strength isn’t just being good on the ball. It is the fight that we show.
The win at Forest was another step in the right direction.
We just need to fine tune things and our belief here is - if it’s obvious to see, it’s obvious to solve.
We offer a warm welcome to Ange Postecoglu and everyone visiting from Spurs. They’ve had a good start in the Premier League and we know we face another tough test this afternoon.
Enjoy the match
Vinny
