Vinny's notes ahead of today's game
Hello again!
The last game of this season but also game one in preparation for next season and new, exciting, challenges ahead.
Your support, as ever, was amazing at Tottenham.
Despite the result, and what it ultimately meant, you showed everyone what it’s like to be part of a team. Because you are very much part of this team.
No sulking or moaning for any of us, despite the disappointment that we all shared. We keep going.
We never stopped trying and never accepted anything less than 100% effort and now we continue to channel that focus and energy on trying to get back into the Premier League.
That energy and motivation lives in us all and we’ve already started to look forward to what’s ahead. Looking to do well as soon as we get that opportunity, knowing we have learnt from the last ten months and now stand more robust and resolute than before.
Yesterday, we reflected on the anniversary of the foundation of this great football club. Here we are 142 years and one day later, still standing, still the vibrant hub of the community. Our community.
What comes next is exciting.
Everything that everyone achieves at this football club, we do together. When we have good times again, and they will come again, we will appreciate even more how doing this together prepared us for further success. Something special.
So, for the last time this season, we all thank you for your continued support and we look forward to the next chapter starting when we see you next.
Enjoy the match and have a great summer!
Vinny
