All the important dates for your diary ahead of the upcoming Premier League season

Burnley officially became a Premier club on Wednesday 4th June following the AGM (Annual General Meeting) which oversees the transition of the 2024/25 season to the 2025/26 campaign.
The summer transfer window initially opened for a 10 day period on Sunday 1st June, but will close on Tuesday 10th June, introduced for the clubs competing in this summer's FIFA Club World Cup to register players for the tournament, before it then reopens again on Monday 16th June and closes on 1st September.
The Clarets will find out their fixture schedule for the season on Wednesday 18th June, before kicking off the PL campaign on 16th August.

16th June 2025 – Summer transfer window reopens
18th June 2025 – Premier League fixtures released (9am)
30th June 2025 – Players return to pre-season training
13th July – 20th July 2025 – Portugal pre-season training camp
26th July 2025 – Huddersfield Town (A) / Shrewsbury Town (A)
2nd August 2025 – Stoke City (A)
9th August 2025 – High-profile home friendly
16th August 2025 – Premier League campaign begins
1st September 2025 – Summer transfer window closes (7pm)
1st September – 9th September 2025 – International break
6th October – 14th October 2025 – International break
10th November – 18th November 2025 – International break
1st January 2026 – Winter transfer window opens
2nd February 2026 – Winter transfer window closes (7pm)
23rd March - 31st March 2026 - International break
24th May 2026 – Premier League campaign finishes
