05/04/2025 - Coventry City 1 - 2 Burnley (Turf Moor)

Burnley kicked off April in fine fashion, as Scott Parker's men came from behind to claim another impressive victory in the Sky Bet Championship and extend their unbeaten run to 27 matches, as Jaidon Anthony found the back of the net in both halves to cancel out Coventry City's opener.

The Sky Blues took a controversial early lead in the fifth minute through Haji Wright, after the striker steered home the opener from an offside position to give Frank Lampard’s side the advantage.

However, the Clarets responded shortly after with a well-worked goal, after Anthony slotted home from close range to pull the scores level.

Burnley’s second goal of the afternoon then came just a minute into the second-half, as Anthony took advantage of a defensive mix-up and fired through the legs of Brad Collins and into an empty goal.

08/04/2025 - Derby County 0 - 0 Burnley (Pride Park)

Burnley were back on the road again but held to a goalless draw against Derby County, as Scott Parker's side extended their Sky Bet Championship run to 28 matches, as well as ending the Rams' winning run at Pride Park.

In a tight contest, the Clarets did have chances to win the game, but a stubborn County defence meant the points were shared in the Midlands, in which saw a 29th clean sheet of the campaign secured.

11/04/2025 - Burnley 2 - 1 Norwich City (Turf Moor)

Hannibal’s first goal for Burnley and Jaidon Anthony’s seventh goal of the campaign saw Scott Parker’s men claim all three points against Norwich City.

The Clarets opened the scoring in the 15th minute through Hannibal’s well-taken effort, before Anthony then struck home the second 10 minutes later.

Norwich did claw a goal back through substitute Jack Stacey in the second-half, but a dominant display saw the home side take all three points and extend the unbeaten run to 29 matches.

18/04/2025 - Watford 1 - 2 Burnley (Vicarage Road)

Burnley continued their outstanding run of form on Good Friday, after coming from behind in emphatic fashion to defeat Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road.

Zian Flemming’s header and Josh Brownhill’s winning goal after Mamadou Doumbia’s opener saw the Clarets claim all three points and extend their Sky Bet Championship unbeaten run to 30 consecutive matches.

Doumbia gave the Hornets an early lead through his header, before the Clarets hit back through Flemming’s 10th league goal of the season just before half-time.

The visitors then took the lead just before the hour mark, as Brownhill headed in from close range in front of the travelling Burnley supporters behind the goal to seal the win.

21/04/2025 - Burnley 2 - 1 Sheffield United (Turf Moor)

Burnley secured their place back in the Premier League with a win over Sheffield United, which sealed automatic promotion for the Clarets at the first time of asking.

The skipper Josh Brownhill stepped up once again to hit home a brace either side of Tom Cannon's equaliser and it proved to be enough against the Blades at Turf Moor.

Brownhill gave the Clarets the lead in the 28th minute, before Cannon equalised for the visitors shortly after, but Burnley were once again ahead through a penalty just before the break and that proved to be the crucial winning goal.

26/04/2025 - QPR 0 - 5 Burnley (Loftus Road)

A scintillating and dominating display from the already-promoted Burnley saw the Clarets claim all three points in fine fashion against QPR, as Scott Parker's side extended their Sky Bet Championship unbeaten run to 32 matches with a 5-0 win over the R's.

Josh Cullen opened the scoring for the visitors in the 9th minute with a cool finish, before Zian Flemming smashed home the second goal shortly after.

Nine minutes after that, Flemming then headed in his second and Burnley's third of the afternoon, with substitute Jeremy Sarmiento rounding off the scoring in the second-half with two goals.

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey was then introduced with six minutes remaining, in what was the 22-year-old's first appearance for the Club in over a year, after recovering from a long-term injury suffered in February last year.
