Clarets welcome Hatters for first home game of 2022/23 Championship season

Burnley Football Club would like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to supporters after the 14,000 mark was surpassed in season ticket sales earlier this week.

Ahead of the upcoming campaign, the current tally for sales stands at 14,073. With only days to go until the season gets underway and under two weeks until the first home game against Luton Town at Turf Moor, the figure represents one of the Club's highest in recent times.

It has already surpassed the amount sold for every one of the Club’s previous seven campaigns in the Championship and is well on the way to following the same pattern when compared to most of our recent seasons in the Premier League.

As the excitement around the Club and the town builds for his first season in charge, manager Vincent Kompany has echoed the sentiments of all behind the scenes at Turf Moor: “First of all I would like to thank you all for the warm reception I have received since joining the Club.

“The team are working hard every day to be ready for the upcoming season, which we can’t wait to get started.

“There’s an exciting project coming together here at Burnley, and we want you to be a part of it and keep supporting us all the way.

“A big thank you to everyone that has purchased a season ticket so far, your continued support is hugely appreciated.

“Together as one, on and off the pitch, we can be forever forward.”

Season tickets remain on sale and can be purchased ONLINE or from the ticket office, either in person or you can call the team on 01282 446800 (option 2).
