Anass Zaroury is looking forward to testing himself against some of the world's best players on Saturday night as Morocco host Brazil in Tangier.

The 2022 UEFA World Cup semi-finalists host the five-time World Cup winners Brazil, before facing Peru at the Civitas Metropolitan Stadium in Madrid on Tuesday.

Zaroury is pleased to be back amongst his Moroccan teammates over the international break and is relishing the opportunity to come up against Tite's side but is hoping his side can 'take it to another level'.

The 22-year-old said: "I’m really happy to be back and to see all the players & staff members here again. We feel we really did something good at the World Cup, but now we have more responsibility to try and go another level higher.

"In the World Cup, we already played against some of the world’s biggest teams and for sure Brazil is also one of them. It will be a really good game for me to go and learn in.

"These are the best players in the world, so it’s always good to play against them. You see where you’re at compared to them, it’s always a good occasion."

Zaroury added: "I like travelling when we play these games and I like to play in countries where I’ve never played before, or sometimes even been.

"Also, we have a lot of Moroccan supporters there in Spain. I think it’s also good for those fans to be able to come and watch us play in their country when we play Peru."

When Zaroury returns to Burnley next week, the Clarets have just nine games left to play in the Sky Bet Championship and the winger is excited to return to Turf Moor and end the season on a high.

"It’s been a few games since we’ve played at Turf Moor, so it’s always good to come back home. We’ve got to finish off what we’ve started there.

"I want to play in every game that I can play. All the minutes I get from the manager, I want to use to keep enjoying playing at Burnley, especially at Turf Moor with all the players & fans.

"There’s a lot of enjoyment from me and the rest of the squad when we get to play in front of them."
