Jordan Beyer was delighted to get his first win in a Clarets shirt on Saturday, making his full debut for the Club, partnering Taylor Harwood-Bellis in the centre of defence.
The 22-year-old defender spoke after the win over Bristol City, about settling into life at Turf Moor, partnering Harwood-Bellis and defending as a team to secure the three points.
Beyer on the victory over Bristol City:
"It was not bad at all! I really enjoyed that today, the team was great and was a great effort from everyone.
"I just hope that is my first win of many at Turf Moor, with many more to come."
Beyer on settling into the squad:
"I'm really happy to be a part of it, the team helped me settle, they are great guys.
"It took probably just one day to get settled in, I think it's easier to then show it on the field."
Beyer on playing alongside Harwood-Bellis:
"I think it worked out really well, he's a great guy, he's a top defender.
"We worked well together, they have all made it so easy for me to be a part of the team."
Beyer on holding out for the three points:
"It was tough at times, especially the last 10 minutes, they had to do something to try affect the game.
"They threw all the big guys up front, but i thought we defended excellently at a team.
"Taylor (Harwood-Bellis), Ian (Maatsen), Connor (Roberts) and Corky, I think we did to keep them away and keep the ball out of danger."
