The Nomads, who finished runners up in the Welsh Premier League last season, also reached the final of the league cup, before losing out to The New Saints in a 3-0 defeat.

The Filtshire side, who drew 0-0 with Aberdeen last week in a pre-season friendly, face Kilmarnock in the Europa League first qualifying round over two legs, with the first leg being played this Thursday.

Connah’s Quay Nomads are managed by former Manchester City and Blackpool defender Andy Morrison, who joined the club in 2015.

The game kicks off at 11:30am at the Clarets’ training base on Saturday 3^rd August, when the first team host Italian side Parma at 3:00pm at Turf Moor later that afternoon.
