Clarets face Teessiders in return to Curzon Ashton

The Under-23s return to Curzon Ashton on Monday to take on Middlesbrough in a PL2 game being streamed live on Clarets+
With a heavy match schedule at the Lancashire FA headquarters at Leyland, the Clarets have moved the fixture to the Tameside Stadium.
That means a return to their previous home at U23 level as Steve Stone’s side looks to bounce back from successive defeats in Division Two.
A late goal against Crystal Palace last Monday cost the Clarets a share of the points at Selhurst Park.
But since then they secured an impressive 5-1 friendly win at Manchester United last Thursday.
And Stone may have the option of adding one or two more senior players to his squad to face a Boro side which is without a win in six games to sit level on points with the Clarets just below half-way up the league table.
Kick-off is at 2pm with live streaming and commentary from Phil Bird available from 1.45pm as part of the Clarets+ subscription package.
