“It’s not a nice feeling to see yourself in the bottom three.

“Now when you look at the league table after a couple of wins it looks a lot better.

“But we want to keep striving and keep improving and climbing up the table to get as high as we can and as far away from the danger zone as possible.”

“All our stats are up, which has helped, and confidence,” added the left-back, in a bid to explain the upturn in fortunes.

“The confidence from the first win has helped and then moving onto Huddersfield and even the Cup win last week.

“Confidence is huge in football. I think’s that helped a lot and we want to carry that into Saturday.

“Back-to-back wins in any league is hard. To do it in the Premier League is brilliant but we want to build on that.

“We want to make it three in a row and after that four.

“Saturday is another huge game, just like the last league game and the one before that.

“The league is that tight that one win can boost you up the league or drag you into it.”
