MATCH SHIRTS UP FOR AUCTION
One-off friendly kit to raise funds for Burnley foodbank
The Clarets will wear a one-off shirt for their friendly at Tranmere Rovers which will then be auctioned off to aid Burnley’s foodbank.
Sean Dyche’s side will wear the 2020/21 yellow away kit branded with new principal shirt partner Spreadex Sports and sleeve sponsor AstroPay.
The shirts will then be signed by the players and made available for bids, with all proceeds from the auction going to help provide badly needed food supplies for the foodbank run by Burnley FC in the Community.
The Clarets’ first-team squad goes to Prenton Park to face Tranmere on Saturday for a behind-closed-doors friendly (KO 1pm) after their scheduled warm-up fixture at Nottingham Forest was called off.
Details of how to join in the shirt auction will be announced next week.
