The first three seasons of ePL provided huge drama and attracted millions of viewers worldwide, as Fnatic Tekkz (Liverpool), XLTom (Watford) and Shellzz (Manchester City) were crowned ePL champions. This season’s Grand Finals take place on the 26th and 27th March and will feature a mix of some of the very best EA SPORTS FIFA 22 players in the world, plus lesser-known participants looking to show they can compete with the elite. Featuring a stellar commentary line-up and expert analysts, it will be the first live event with the finalists in attendance, since the inaugural ePremier League season in 2019. There will be lots to play for over the two days of thrilling action broadcast live from Here East in the Olympic Park, London. The Grand Finals are set to be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports, with the show also being made available to international broadcast partners. Fans around the world will also be able to watch which club lifts the trophy on Premier League and Burnley FC channels, and the EA SPORTS FIFA Twitch channel. The prize pool for the tournament has increased to £100,000, with three seats on offer for top-ranking players at the EA SPORTS FIFA 22 Global Series Playoffs. The Burnley FC Club Playoff will feature the following 16 players battling it out to secure the two spots in the final:

The event will see the Esports partnership between Burnley FC and Burnley College really flourish as they will be jointly hosting the event at both venues, with the main tournament being filmed from the Burnley FC Esports Academy based onsite at the college. Ibrahim Siddique, a media student at Burnley College will be taking part in his first live competitive match whilst seasoned pro Brad Colston, who is also an apprentice at the college, will be hoping to secure another place in the final after missing out last season to ex Burnley College student Jasper Ashworth. The tournament will be live on all Burnley FC social channels from 4pm on Monday 21st February and will feature Burnley’s very own YouTube sensation Liam “Vizeh” Waddington and the very well know FIFA creator @TheFIFAAnalyst as part of the casting and commentary team. Fans can also get involved and could find themselves a winner of a signed Maxwel Cornet FIFA Ultimate Team of the Week card, a signed Esports shirt and ‘Powered by Burnley FC’ copy of FIFA 22 on either PlayStation 5 or XBOX Series X|S!
