Burnley U-18s 2, Rochdale U-18s 2

Posted on: Sat 04 Sep 2010

An injury-time leveller from substitute Tommy Taylor earned the Clarets a point at Gawthorpe on Saturday morning.

Burnley twice trailed but earned a deserved share of the spoils at the death.

Rochdale went ahead after 12 minutes but rhe Clarets levelled after 65 minutes when a well-worked short corner routine ended with Joe McKee crossing for Tom Anderson to touch the ball in at the near post.

Dale struck again ten minutes from time to leave Burnley facing a second straight defeat in the North-West Youth Alliance.

But four minutes into added time, Taylor pounced in a goalmouth scramble to poke him his third goal of the campaign.
