Ross Wallace insists his Clarets' goalscoring tally is up and running after he launched Burnley's victory charge against Leicester City.
Wallace struck in first-half stoppage time to set the Clarets on the way to an impressive 3-0 win at Turf Moor as they extended their unbeaten start to the season.
His shot flew in via a massive deflection off Joao Moreno but the Scot was adamant afterwards that it will go down as his first goal since signing from Preston in the summer.
"Undoubtedly I will be claiming it - as you would!" Wallace said.
"Sometimes you need a bit of luck. I took a shot which is probably going in at the front post but it took a deflection and it's gone in the other corner. You still take it."
Wallace then laid on the second goal for Chris Iwelumo as he delivered the perfect cross for Iwelumo to head home his second goal in three games.

Ross Wallace opens his account.......
And the little winger hopes that's a sign of things to come.
"It was a good little ball from Wade and when you've got big Chrissy in the box you've just got to hang it up and he just managed to meet it," he said.
"That's why I came here, to create goals and try and score them and hopefully I will keep doing my job. Hopefully there's more to come."
Graham Alexander wrapped up the victory as he slotted home his 18th straight successful penalty to confirm the Clarets' early season promise.

But Wallace believes there is still room for improvement as Brian Laws' men look to mount a sustained Championship challenge.
"We're very pleased but I think there's more to come," he added.
"Our link-up play in the final third is not quite there yet but defensively we are looking good and in midfield we are looking strong, so it's looking good.
"Hopefully we can kick on for the rest of the season."
