Joe Jackson and Tommy Taylor both scored twice as the Clarets launched their Youth Alliance programme in stunning style at Gawthorpe.
Seven weeks after reporting back for pre-season training, Terry Pashley's young charges were let off the leash and responded with a magnificent seven.
Jackson opened the scoring after just nine minutes when he tucked the ball home on the rebound after a Taylor shot had been saved.
Joe McKee then side-footed home a Jackson cross and Taylor opened his account when he fired in at the far post from a Ross Wilson cross.
Wilson made it 4-0 before the break with another neat finish as Stanley were overwhelmed.
