73 GOAL! 3-0 Penalty as Eagles is fouled in the area latching onto a one-two with Elliott. Up steps ALEXANDER and the result is inevitable! Bottom left hand corner and three points!

71 A magical move almost brings the third. Fox picks out Paterson with a magnificent crossfield ball and when the cross comes low into a slick penalty area, it just skids away from both Eagles and Iwelumo

67 Eagles first touch is a fizzing cross that Logan does well to grab under pressure

66 Double substitution for Burnley: Wallace and Marney make way for Eagles and Cork

62 GOAL! 2-0 Great play on the floor by Elliott to fed the ball to Wallace, whose hanging cross is bulleted home at the far post by IWELUMO

58 Iwelumo takes advantage of defensive disarray in the penalty area, but his attempt is blocked for a corner

57 Sub: Lamey for Neilson

55 Elliott dinks a cross to the far post, where Iwelumo heads down straight at Logan

HALF-TIME

45+2 GOAL! 1-0 WALLACE gets his first Burnley goal in first half stoppage time. There was a large slice of luck involved as only a massive deflection off Joao Moreno beats Logan but Brian Laws and his side won't mind as they head off at the break in front.

43 The injury to Weale was bad enough to force a change with Conrad Logan off the bench for the Foxes

41 Wallace follows Marney into the book for a foul on Richie Wellens

33 The Clarets are a threat from set-pieces and Weale does well to beat Bikey to the punch from a Ross Wallace free-kick. The keeper gets a knock and needs treatment.

31 N'Guessan fires wide and the referee reckons there was a deflection but the Foxes waste the corner

30 The first booking of the game as Dean Marney sees yellow for catching Campbell late

20 The Clarets look dangerous going forward and a knock-down from Chris Iwelumo is met by Wade Elliott for a skidding shot which has Chris Weale at full stretch

18 Another scare as DJ Campbell gets in behind the defence but shoots over under pressure from Bikey

11 A decision goes the Clarets way, though, as N'Guessan flagged offside when clean through and he looked in line.

5 Bikey rises to power home Wallace's corner, but referee G Eltringham has already blown for a foul. It's anyone's guess who!

1 Danny N'Guessan breaks away down the left, but Jensen is equal to his near post effort. Almost the perfect start there for City!

Team news:

Tyrone Mears returns in place of the suspended David Edgar as the only change to the Clarets' side for this afternoon's clash with Leicester City at Turf Moor.

Mears is fit to resume at right-back following a shin injury that kept him out of last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town as Burnley look to extend their unbeaten start.

The Foxes also make one change with Dany N'Guessan replacing Lloyd Dyer in a wide attacking role as they bid for a first Championship win of the season.

Burnley: Jensen, Mears, Fox, Carlisle, Bikey, Alexander, Marney (Cork 66), Paterson, Elliott, Iwelumo (Thompson 76), Wallace (Eagles 66). Subs: McDonald, Cort, Rodriguez, Grant.

Leicester City: Weale (Logan 43), Neilson (Lamey 57), Moreno, Oakley (Moussa 80), Howard, King, Berner, N'Guessan, Wellens, Hobbs, Campbell. Subs: Morrison, Gallagher, Kennedy, Crncic.

Referee: Grant Eltringham
