Brian Laws is determined to avoid becoming another Carling Cup casualty after being handed a second-round trip to giant-killing Morecambe.
The Clarets will make their first visit to Morecambe's new Globe Arena after the League Two side stunned Coventry City with a shock 2-0 win on Tuesday night.
"It will be a tough game at their new stadium," said Laws, whose Clarets' side enters the competition at the second-round stage.
"Morecambe will be buoyant from their win over Coventry and will feel there is another scalp to be had.
"You can't take this game lightly at all. In fact they are as tough as they come, especially away from home.
"The circumstances they won last time will suggest we are in for a tough night, but we are also confident enough that if we get it right we are confident of getting through to the next round."
The second round ties will be played in the week commencing 23rd August. Ticket details and further match information will appear here.
