85 Burnley sub: Thompson for Iwelumo

82 Sub: Majewski for Moussi

81 Alexander free kick finds Iwelumo, whose looping header looks to be arcing over Camp but for a fingertip save

75 Burnley sub: Rodriguez for Paterson

71 Burnley have surrendered the initiative here and Forest are doing all the pressing. At the moment, Iwelumo is the only outlet and it's not really halting the turning tide.

68 Sub: Blackstock makes way for Anderson.

62 Another chance for Forest as Gunter cross and Blackstock heads over under pressure from Carlisle. This game is in the melting pot though.

60 Wallace's quick cutback is headed over by Marney from 12 yards

53 What a let off! Burnley chase the ball in a pack, but when It's slipped inside to Earnshaw, he has all the room in the world to send Tyson clear. Fortunately, the Forest wide man balloons his effort high into the ranks of away fans.

50 Great start by the Clarets. Wallace's free kick is spooned round the post tentatively by Camp and from the corner the Scot's cross into the box is nodded just wide by Carlisle

46 Sub: Chambers for Wilson

45 GOAL! 1-0 What a goal by the Clarets to start the season. Elliott drives down the right after a smart one-two with Paterson and picks out IWELUMO with a delicious cross that the big man dives to head home!

43 Wallace corner picks out Bikey and his header is slipping just past the far post, but technically I suppose it's a goal line clearance!

31 Immediately, Burnley go close. Wallace fires over apeach of a cross at waist height from the left, but neither Iwelumo or Paterson can find a touch.

30 Sub: Clarke Carlisle on for Duff. Clearly an injury there.

27 More danger as Forest break through the dangerous Earnshaw, but this time Tyson's cross is far too high for inrushing team mates

24 Moments later, Rob Earnshaw capitalises on a one-two with Blackstock and thumps a right footer off the outside of the post from 20 yards

23 At last, the first shot in anger. Burnley enjoy a sustained spell of pressure and Wallace tries his luck from distance, but it lacks thepower to beat Camp in the Forest goal.

17 minutes in and still no chances for either side in a real scrappy affair

11 Marney crashes into Wilson chasing a cushioned Paterson header and the Forest player is felled. There's several minutes of stoppage time before he rises, but it's symptomatic of the game. It's just not got going yet!

7 The first injury of the new season .. and a new flag needed for the referee's assistant after his original snaps!

2 A bright start, as you might expect - and already Andre Bikey has enjoyed wining two crunching challenges
