New Clarets midfielder Dean Marney has had one thing on his mind since his summer arrival … Saturday's visit of Nottingham Forest.
Marney, 26, is eagerly anticipating the weekend's curtain-raiser at Turf Moor, which is expected to attract a bumper crowd (kick off 3pm).
And the summer signing from fellow Championship side Hull City, who has battled hard in pre-season in an attempt to wrestle his way in to the line-up, can't wait to get started!
He said: "The focus from day one has been on the Nottingham Forest game and that's all we're concerned about.

"I'm really enjoying it and I'm just really looking forward to the season now.
"The main thing starts this weekend and that's what we're focusing on."
The clarets have widely been tipped for a promotion challenge, but the tenacious former Tottenham man Marney is well aware of the expectations.
He added: "We know we're obviously going to be one of the favourites, when you look at the squad we've got, we can accept that. It's just down to us to perform week in week out."
"I just want to get out there and get started, Nottingham Forest is the big game and we can't wait for it."
