Alex-Ray Harvey is thrilled at the prospect of jetting out to Singapore as he cranks up his bid to join the first-team ranks at Turf Moor.
The midfield prospect has been given a place in Burnley's touring party for their three-match tour which gets underway on Saturday.
It is another step forward for the young schemer, who also figured in the Clarets' opening pre-season friendlies against Bury and Oldham.
And Harvey hopes it's a path that will lead to a chance of senior action when the Championship campaign gets under way next month.
"It's certainly been a good pre-season so far," said the 20-year-old.
"It's been better than other pre-seasons. I have been more involved. The gaffer has stuck to his word and given us a chance.
"He said if we do well in training he will give us a run and I have been lucky enough to get a run in both games.
"And now it will be good to go to Singapore. We'll be playing different teams and I am excited about it.
"It's something I aim for when I get back for pre-season. You always want to go on the tour. It's like a team-bonding exercise and you can be around the players every day."

Harvey has come through the ranks
Harvey looks to be coming of age at Turf Moor after initially joining the club as a nine year old in the Clarets' Centre of Excellence.
The tigerish midfielder has looked comfortable in the first-team environment since being given his opportunity by boss Brian Laws after reporting back for training at the start of July.
"I thought that I had to make an impression straight away and do well from the first day and really hit the ground running," Harvey told the Clarets' official website.
"I have got to keep going until the end of pre-season and see where it takes me.
"It's always better training with the first team. You are playing with better players, they help you and everything is going to improve.
"It's also good for the older players to be talking to you. You feel comfortable around them and you feel more relaxed around the club."

Training with the first-team squad
After his taste of the action at Bury and Oldham, Harvey then helped the Clarets' reserves win 3-0 at Buxton in their opening warm-up game.
The Burnley-born player is likely to be a key member of Ashley Hoskin's reserve side when the new season kicks off, but will also be striving for his big break-through and the possibility of a first-team debut.
"There wasn't much chance in the Premier League but in the Championship if I keep going hopefully the manager will believe in me and throw me in there and hopefully I can show him what I can do," Harvey added.
"I have got to aim high. If you don't, you won't go anywhere. I've set high targets. I want to be involved with the squad and do as well as I can this season and hopefully at the end I can stay with the club and earn a new contract.
"I have been around the club since I was a little boy. I have grown up with the club and what it's been through. They are good times at the moment to be part of."
