Brian Laws has expressed his frustration at not adding another new face to his squad ahead of the start of the Clarets' pre-season programme.

Following Satueday's 3-0 win at Bury, the gaffer revealed talks over a new signing had hit a stumbling block.

However, Laws remains confident of concluding a deal before the squad fly out for their nine-day tour to Singapore in a week's time.

He said: "There will definitely be one or two more incoming and I am a little bit disappointed that I haven't concluded one by this weekend, but we are digging away there.

"We are hoping to conclude that next week, but the other club are just dragging their heels a little.

"But I certainly want one in before we go to Singapore and hopefully another one later."
