46 Nine changes at half time for the Clarets, who now line up: Jensen, Cort, Carlisle, Eckersley Edgar, Easton, McDonald, Marney, Iwelumo, Paterson, Eagles.

HALF TIME

45 GOAL! 0-2 Thompson has the easiest of finishes from 12 yards to round off the move of the half, involving a dozen quickfire passes upfield and ending with Rodriguez nodding down Elliott's chip into the box.

37 Wallace's curling left foot free kick causes more problems for Belford in the Bury goal, but he holds on at the second attempt

35 Jay Rodriguez fizzes a shot from 35 yards just wide of the far post as the Clarets come close to doubling their lead.

33 GOAL! 0-1 Ross Wallace opens his Burnley account, racing onto McCann's slide ruls pass, drawing the keeper and rifling the ball into the bottom left hand corner

25 Burnley respond and Thompson's terrific through ball release McCann, who is denied by a smart save from the advancing Shakers keeper.

20 Bury are inches away from taking the lead as Bishop tries his luck with an angled drive from just outside the box, which flashes just past the post.

15 Burnley are now getting their passing game going, with Wade Elliott particularly lively in a central midfield role

13 The first Vuvuzela is heard, followed by a groan sweeping the main stand!

11 A big block tackle tests out Chris McCann's knee, but the Clarets midfielder shows no ill-effects

6 First chance of the game to Bury. Sweet, incisive passing frees Haworth, but his low cross-cum-shot flies across the face of goal and out for a throw

Clarets kick off with Bikey partnering Duff at centre back and Eckersley and Fox filliing the full back berths. Ross Wallace makes his bow on the left flank.
