Burnley's Big Bath Bites The Dust!

Posted on: Sat 19 Jun 2010

Burnley's big bath has bitten the dust to signal the end of an era!

The giant communal bath, an iconic part of the home dressing room since it's opening in 1969, has finally been demolished as the club upgrades the players' facilities in time for the start of the 2010/11 npower Championship season.

The refurbishment of the entire dressing room area is part of a pre-planned summer of work going on at Turf moor.

A number of individual, smaller baths will replace the giant bath.

Other major changes, conducive to a plush, flexible dressing room area, will see ash panelling installed on the walls, with cushioned benches replacing the existing seating.
