Burnley goalkeeper Jonathan Lund has today (Saturday) signed an emergency seven-day loan with Championship club Barnsley.

Lund, who joined the Clarets on a one-year professional contract last October, recently returned from a month's loan in South Yorkshire with Rotherham.

The former Leeds United youngster, 21, was expected to go straight into the Tykes' squad for their game against Crystal Palace this afternoon as cover for David Preece while Luke Steele serves a one-match ban.
