Prior to Saturday's home game against Ipswich Town, the successful launch of the brand new junior supporters club, the Junior Clarets took place.

Hundreds of excited junior season ticket holders got their hands on the brand new welcome packs, filled with plenty of gifts, including a drawstring bag, welcome booklet (inc club vouchers and special offers), beanie hat, bedroom plaque, bag tag, pen & pencil set, sticker set, and a Junior Claret membership card.

The Junior Clarets Family Village hosted the event which saw the appearance of midfield star Remco van der Schaaf along with Bertie Bee. Activities included the inflatable speed ball, face painters and a balloon maker which turned the Junior Clarets Family Village into a haven for youngsters and adults alike.

We would like to remind everyone who picked up their packs on Saturday without filling in their registration form to make sure they complete it and return it to us.

To be guaranteed that all the benefits of being a Junior Clarets member are available, this form needs to be completed and returned.

Existing Junior Clarets members will shortly receive an E-newsletter packed with lots of information including the results of the draw to become the matchday mascot for the home games against Plymouth Argyle FC, Blackpool FC and Preston North End FC.

The junior supporters club has been revamped and re-branded and will now be known as the 'Junior Clarets'. This will create a new and exciting supporters club that will act as a platform to increase junior support for Burnley Football Club.

The Junior Clarets gives all junior supporters aged between 0-16 the opportunity to become a part of Burnley Football Club's official junior supporters club and take advantage of some great offers, including entry to a draw to become a matchday mascot, Halloween and Christmas parties with the possibility of the players attending, plus exclusive money-can't-buy gifts, access to all the latest news coming from Turf Moor through our e-newsletter and much more.

For existing junior season ticket holders, membership of the Junior Clarets will be given free of charge with the exchange of season ticket voucher 33 and for non season ticket holders, membership can be bought from the Clarets Store for £10. Simply call in to the club shop to pick up your pack.
