Northern Ireland goalkeeper Conor Mitchell initially signed a two-year Youth Team scholarship in 2012.

Mitchell was initially a regular for the Northern Ireland U-19’s and helped the Green and White Army win the Milk Cup beating Mexico in a heated game in Coleraine.

Having put pen-to-paper a one-year professional deal in 2014 and appearing for his country’s U21s, he received a call-up to a full Northern Ireland training camp in June 2017, further emphasising his potential.

Domestically, after impressing for the Youth Team and Development Squad, the goalkeeper was offered a new deal for the 2015/16 season; again extending his deal further in December, 2015, after making the first team bench at Middlesbrough.

The goalkeeper then joined Bradford Park Avenue in January, 2016 on a one month youth loan, competing for the shirt with former Claret Jon Stewart, before joining his old club Sheffield FC the following month.

In July 2017, Conor made his full Clarets’ debut in the pre-season game at Bradford City.
