Barrett joined the Clarets in August 2020, after leaving hometown club Leicester City.

The young defender penned a one-year deal at Turf Moor and will be a part of Steve Stone's U23 side.

Barrett was with the Foxes for seven years and was a regular figure in City's youth team last season.
