Tony Philliskirk's side travel to Birmingham City this weekend in the U18 Professional Development League.
The U18s have only lost once in their lost five matches, winning three and drawing just one, most recently against Bolton last week.
When the Clarets faced City away last season, Burnley ran out 3-1 winners, with goals from Ne-Jai Tucker, Matty O’Neil and an own goal.
Goalkeeper Harry Allen has returned from his brief loan spell with Curzon Ashton – where the shot stopper earned the man of the match award on his debut last week.
And the former Manchester United keeper’ is looking forward to returning to league action with the Clarets this weekend.
Allen said: “We faced Birmingham twice last season and they play some really nice football.
“But hopefully playing our mixed football and style of play will come in hand for us and we will be looking to overcome their style of football.
“The main aim is three points this weekend, it’s a perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways, as we have won three of our last five.
“So, I think the way we play will come in our favour tomorrow and I’m looking forward to getting back out there and hopefully getting a win.”
The match kicks off at 12:00pm at Birmingham City’s training ground, live updates will be available throughout the match.
