Ashley Barnes has received a second award for February, via the PFA Bristol Street Motors Premier League Player of the Month Award.
The news follows his nomination earlier today for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month.
The Clarets striker has been shortlisted for the PFA fans’ vote following an impressive month, in which he scored a late penalty to earn a point v Southampton, was on target in the 3-1 win at Brighton and Hove Albion and scored the winner in the Turf Moro victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
In tandem with strike partner Chris Wood, they scored six times in February to spearhead Burnley’s climb sway form the Premier League’s bottom three.
Barnes faces competition for the award from Manchester City trio Sergio Aguero, Aymeric Laporte and Raheem Sterling, Virgil Van Dijk of Liverpool and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
Voting is open now and closes at 8am on Monday, March 4.
