Clarets Trio In Irish Squad

Midfield duo Jeff Hendrick and Robbie Brady and defender Kevin Long have all been included in the latest Ireland squad for next month’s double-header.

The Republic host Switzerland on Thursday, September 5 in their latest play Euro 2020 qualifier, followed by an International Friendly against Bulgaria in Dublin five days later, on September 10.

And Mick McCarthy has named a 40-man provisional squad for the internationals, which includes the Clarets trio.
