The youth team travel to Yorkshire this weekend, to face seventh placed Sheffield United in the U18 Professional Development League.
Danny Cadamarteri’s side, who currently sit third in the table, have picked up four wins from their opening five games this campaign, with the only defeat coming away to Watford.
The young Clarets bounced back from that loss with a 3-2-win last weekend against Ipswich, as 16-year old Mitch George snatched the winner late on.
United have only played three games this season. After an opening day victory away to QPR, the Blades went on to lose against Watford, before a draw with Coventry City.
Last season, the Clarets ran out 1-0 winners at home to the Yorkshire side, as Dylan Meredith’s first-half free-kick proved to be enough.
However, Cadamarteri’s side fell to a 5-2 defeat in the reverse fixture, Will Harris and Meredith with the goals.
The match, on Saturday, kicks off at 11am and will be played at Sheffield United’s Academy Centre.
