As fans will be aware, work on the new Accessible Stadia facilities at Turf Moor has been the subject of several unforeseen delays.
However, ahead of this weekend’s home game, we would like to offer an update on the project.
Unprecedented challenges have delayed the project significantly.
However, we are pleased that, finally, tangible progress is being made, and this will become evident over the coming weeks, with the construction of the steel framework beginning imminently in the North East corner of the stadium.
This build represents a significant capital investment of around £5m and we still aim to unveil the new facilities early in the new year.
The North East section, which will include a new LED giant screen, will be first to be completed, with the South East corner development following soon afterwards.

Naturally, we offer our sincere apologies to all our disabled fans, and hope you will understand that these significant issues have caused delays that we did not anticipate at the start of the project.
Due to the current site conditions, there will be no big screen available at this weekend’s fixture v Bournemouth.
