Sam Vokes is the latest member of the Clarets’ squad to become a signed-up member of the Premier League’s 100 club.
Vokes reached the milestone with a match-winning performance at Cardiff City at the end of last month when his headed goal secured a 2-1 win for Burnley.
That was the striker’s 89th top-flight appearance in a Burnley shirt, to add to the 11 he previously made for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“It’s great to get that 100 mark and hopefully I can build on that and there are lots more with Burnley,” said the Wales international.
Vokes, who received a special commemorative medal from the Premier League and sponsors Cadbury’s, is the fourth Burnley player this season to receive an award.
Ben Mee and Ashley Barnes have both clocked up a century of Premier League appearances – all for Burnley – and Jack Cork was presented with a medal to mark his 200th game in the competition.
