Johann Berg Gudmundsson has been named in the latest Iceland squad to face France and Switzerland.
The Clarets wide-man, who scored his first goal of the season at Cardiff last weekend, will travel with the squad to Paris for an international friendly on Thursday, October 11.
Iceland then host the Swiss in a Nations League group game in Reykjavik on Monday, October 15, looking to gain revenge for their 0-6 defeat last time out.
Gudmundsson is the latest Claret to be called up for the upcoming international fixtures, along with James Tarkowski (England), Sam Vokes (Wales), Matej Vydra (Czech Republic) and Jeff Hendrick and Kevin Long (Ireland).
Dwight McNeil, meanwhile, will link up with the England U20s, and Burnley also have two players in Ireland’s under-19 squad for a qualifying phase of the European Championships.
Goalkeeper George McMahon and defender James Clarke have been selected for games against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands and the Netherlands – all being played in Ireland.
