The development squad cruised past Sheffield United 6-0 at the Tameside Stadium this afternoon, in the Professional Development League.
Jon Pepper's side were two goals to the good at the break, thanks to a Chakwana brace.
And the striker completed his hat-trick just two minutes into the second-half.
Dan Agyei notched in the fourth, before Chakwana curled home the fifth of the match.
Mark Howarth then nodded home a sixth in the last minute, on a crisp afternoon in Ashton Under-Lyne.
Chakwana said: “I’m delighted to score four goals this afternoon but also really happy to get the win.
“Since the Bournemouth game we have picked up a couple of good results.
“We took the momentum from the result at Leeds into this game and it was good to get the win".
The 19-year old overtook Agyei's leading seven goals as well, as Chakwana has eight goals to his name now in the PDL.
The forward said: "I have set some targets for the season, but you just have to go with the flow.
“But I’ve got myself going now and I just want to keep it going.
Pepper was also pleased to see the youngster in fine form and the performance of his side.
He said: "I'm really pleased for Tinashe, he has worked really hard in recent weeks.
"And he's getting in the right positions and creating his own luck as well.
"He took his goals really well today, he actually had one ruled out for offside, which he said he didn't think he was.
"They were really clean finishes, and he has put his chances away very well".
