Burnley FC in the Community (BFCitC) and Pendleside Hospice are encouraging fans to bring £1 for the stadium-wide bucket collection that will take place on Community Day – the fixture between Burnley and Leicester City on Saturday, 14th April at Turf Moor.
Community Day is the celebration of the charitable work that BFCitC and the hospice carry out and aims to increase awareness of the impact that we are both having in local communities.
All funds raised from Community Day will be split 50/50 between both charities and the Clarets’ first team players are once again backing the campaign!
Burnley FC in the Community is Burnley FC’s official award-winning charity.
Delivering numerous community projects across East Lancashire and West Yorkshire, BFCitC has touched the lives of over 24,000 individuals across our five key areas: sport, education, health, social inclusion and our growing facilities portfolio.
The charity is recognised as a leader in delivering impactful and inspiring community work, on both a local and national scale.
Pendleside Hospice, founded in 1988, are celebrating their 30th anniversary as a charity in 2018!
During this time, they have been providing vital care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families living in the local community of Burnley and Pendle.
