The Clarets’ goalkeeper made his Premier League bow only last September but earned his spot in England’s 23-man squad in Russia thanks to a run of stand-out performances to help Burnley qualify for Europe.
BBC reporter Tom Williams chatted with Nick and his family at home in East Anglia before the 26-year-old flew out with Gareth Southgate’s squad to start their World Cup campaign against Tunisia next Monday.
