The Burnley Development Squad kick off their pre-season campaign tomorrow (Saturday), with their first friendly of the 2018/19 schedule.
The U23s make the short journey to Colne FC, looking for their third win in a row against the local side, where they have run out winners in the two previous friendlies.
The previous meeting, last July, saw goals from Olatunde Bayode and Robbie Leitch ensure victory for the Clarets in a 2-0 win.
Michael Duff's men went on to finish last season a high, winning six out of their last eight matches and will be wanting to take that momentum into this season from the start.
With none of the Development Squad players yet out on loan, it looks likely that a full squad will feature at the XLCR Stadium.
However, Duff will not be in the dug-out, as he is deputising for first team coach Tony Loughlan on the team’s pre-season training camp in Cork.
With assistant Andy Farrell also absent, Nicky Law will take charge of the team for the game, which kicks off at 3pm.
Admission prices are: Adults £5, Concessions £3 and Juniors £1.
Duff's side continue their pre-season campaign next Wednesday, where they travel to Stalybridge Atheltic on Wednesday evening.
