Burnley FC in the Community is delighted to be hosting a Recruitment Evening on Monday 5th February from 6-8pm at UCFB in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand at Turf Moor to showcase a number of opportunities to join the busy, vibrant and fast-growing BFCitC team.
At the event, you’ll have the chance to find out more about the sports coach, dance coach and youth worker roles BFCitC have available across a variety of programmes, including Soccer Schools, Danny Ings Disability Sport Project, Female Football, Player Development Centre, MiniKickers, Premier League Kicks and Walking Football sessions.
Successful applicants will also support and underpin BFCitC's Premier League match day experiences and activities.
The Recruitment Event will also include an introduction and briefing’s from BFCitC’s Chief Executive Officer, Neil Hart, and Head of Sport, Matt Pounder, who will both fill you in about the history and operations of our charity and answer any questions you may have.
Staff from the wider BFCitC team including Sport, Health, Education and Inclusion will also be on hand to offer further information about specific programmes you may be interested in.
Please note that BFCitC are particularly looking for sports coaches with qualifications ranging from FA Level 1 to Level 3 qualifications, across different governing bodies in sports including football, basketball, cricket, and rugby.
BFCitC are also interested in talking to those with experience (and ideally qualifications) in either youth work, mentoring or community work.
Above all, enthusiasm, commitment and open-mindedness are the most valued qualities – as well as a keen desire to make a difference to the lives of those who need it most.
