Josh Ginnelly has joined National League side Tranmere Rovers on loan until the summer following his recall from Lincoln City.
The Clarets winger initially linked up with League Two new-boys Lincoln City on a season-long loan, where he made 18 appearances, scoring three goals.
Ginnelly, who previously helped the Imps land the National League title and return to the Football League, will now hope to repeat the trick on the Wirral, where he is re-united with former Shrewsbury boss and Burnley midfielder Micky Mellon.
The 20-year-old, who has also enjoyed spells on loan at Altrincham and Walsall, originally joined the Clarets’ Development Squad from Shrewsbury Town in August, 2015, agreeing a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Meanwhile, Development Squad striker Harry Limb, 18, has joined EvoStik League Premier Division side Matlock Town on loan for the rest of the season.
