The Clarets’ U23 Professional Development League game against Crewe Alexandra has been re-arranged for Thursday, 22 March at Curzon Ashton (KO 7pm).
The game was originally due to be played on 29 January but was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the Tameside Stadium.
The under-23s are next in action on Friday night when they go to Colchester United in the Premier League Cup.
Michael Duff’s side is currently second in Group D with the top two sides going through to the knock-out stage of the competition.
Four points from their final two games will guarantee Burnley’s place in the last 16.
But victory against bottom side Colchester at the U’s Weston Homes Community Stadium on Friday (KO 7pm) will suffice if Swansea City drop points in their penultimate game at home to leaders Newcastle United next Monday.
And a draw in Essex would also be enough to take the Clarets through, should the Swans lose at home to Newcastle, whose only defeat so far has come against Burnley.
The Clarets - who won in South Wales last month - then complete their group games in the return fixture against the Swans in a potential decider on Monday, 26 February at Curzon Ashton (2pm).
"We've done well in the competition so far with two wins against Category One sides, so it would be nice to progress," said Duff.
"The league is very much about development but we are looking to get through in this if we can.
"The ball is in our court and we know two more wins would make it job done."
