Johann Berg Gudmundsson was named the Clarets’ Dafabet Player of the Month for January.
Gudmundsson topped a supporters’ vote to take the award for the second time this season.
The Iceland international, who also picked up the trophy in November, received his latest award from competition winner Ian Hardie (above) before the Clarets’ 1-1 draw with Southampton on Saturday.
Gudmundsson was an ever-present throughout January as he continued his impressive campaign which has seen the winger credited with five Premier League assists and a couple of goals for Sean Dyche’s side - including one against Liverpool on New Year's Day.
Gudmundsson said: “Many thanks to the supporters who voted for me again in January.
“It’s always an honour to receive this award and to be appreciated by the fans who come and watch very week.
“January was a difficult month with fixtures against some of the top teams but we pushed them all the way and then finished on a high with a point at Newcastle.
“We’ve put a couple more points on the board since then and hopefully next Saturday we’ll get the win we all want against Everton.”
