Burnley will have just 17 outfield players available for Thursday's Europa League tie away to Istanbul Basaksehir.
Striker Chris Wood has not travelled with the squad after suffering an infection to an insect bite, while Steven Defour and Robbie Brady will step up their training at Barnfield.
Following the dispensation request to UEFA, goalkeeper Tom Heaton is also unavailable for selection in UEFA competitions for a period of 30 days following his injury at Preston in pre-season.
However, new signings Joe Hart – one of three goalkeepers in the squad - and defender Ben Gibson are included for the second qualifying round, first leg in Istanbul.
Speaking at the press conference on the eve of the tie, Clarets boss Dyche said: "We’re a little bit limited and we’ll have a few decisions to make.
“Chris has an infection from a bite that has caused a reaction. Steven (Defour) is behind Robbie (Brady) at the moment, so we’re down to 17 players.
“But Joe and Ben (Gibson) have travelled for a reason – to be included if needed.”
Czech international Matej Vydra is another who has not made the trip to Turkey, less than 24 hours after sealing his transfer from Derby County.
Dyche explained: “He’s a bit behind the curve fitness-wise. He’s got to catch up, but he’s different to the strikers we’ve got. He offers a different positional sense, can work off the shoulder or in a number 10.”
