BFCitC shortlisted for two Football Business Awards!

7 September 2017

Burnley FC in the Community is delighted to be in the running for two categories at the upcoming Football Business Awards 2017!

Shortlisted as finalists for both the Best Football Community Scheme Award and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme Award, the nationally recognised event garners and celebrates best practice across the football industry.

Burnley FC’s official charity will join shortlisted nominees from community organisations from across the country including Albion in the Community, Everton in the Community, Fulham FC Foundation, Manchester City FC and Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust, with the dazzling ceremony due to take place at the iconic Tobacco Dock in London this November.

Now in its sixth year, The Football Business Awards recognise and reward the hard work that takes place in supporting the success of the game with the national event focusing on celebrating all the achievements off the pitch.

Neil Hart, CEO of Burnley FC in the Community said: “We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for two categories at this year’s Football Business Awards! This is the first time that we have submitted an entry to the illustrious awards and we are extremely proud that our valuable community work has been recognised. We look forward to attending the ceremony in November.”
