Burnley FC in the Community is delighted to be in the running for the Community Club of the Year (Premier League) accolade at the upcoming North West Football Awards.
The award recognises the exceptional community work carried out by Premier League clubs in the North West.

We are extremely proud of the work we’re carrying out in our community on a daily basis and the impact of that is being felt in real terms more than ever. Burnley FC is a club with community at its heart and for that to be recognised is a real testament to everyone involved with what we do.”
The North West Football Awards pay tribute to and recognise those who achieved footballing excellence both on and off the field in the 2016/17 season. The awards will take place from 6.30pm on Monday 13th November at the Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Manchester.
The club’s official charity were winners of the Community Club of the Year award in both 2015 and 2016.
Burnley FC in the Community now delivers over 30 projects across the areas of sport, education, inclusion, health and facilities. During the 2016/2017 season, BFCitC engaged with over 24,000 people across Burnley and the surrounding areas and invested almost £2m into provision to benefit some of the most vulnerable people in the community.
