All Systems Go As Clarets 'Toon' Up

Traning shots from Barnfield as the Clarets begin build-up to Newcastle

26 October 2017

The Clarets are back at Turf Moor next Monday night when they take on Newcastle United in front of the Sky Sports cameras (8pm kick-off).

And we captured pictures of Sean Dyche's men as they started going through their paces at the Barnfield Training earlier this week in preparation for the visit of Rafa Benitez's Magpies.

It will be only Newcastle's second visit to Turf Moor since Burnley beat a United side including Kevin Keegan, Chris Waddle and Terry McDermott 1-0 in March, 1983 thanks to a winner from Terry Donovan.

Monday's game also marks the fifth anniversary of Dyche's appointment as Burnley boss, when he will take charge of the Clarets for the 230th time.

As this game is the last home game prior to Remembrance Day, the club will also be observing a minute's silence ahead of kick-off.
