Youths Ready For First Leg Of Double-Header

Clarets face Leeds United in first of two meetings in three days

24 November 2017

The Clarets face Leeds United for the first of two meetings in three days when the Roses’ rivals clash in the U18 Professional Development League at Barnfield on Saturday morning (11am).

The two clubs go head-to-head in the third round of the FA Youth Cup at Turf Moor next Monday evening.

But first, league points are at stake with the Clarets hoping to make it three wins in a row.

Victory at leaders Nottingham Forest last Saturday lifted Danny Cadamarteri’s side up to fourth spot, level on points with second-placed Leeds, who are unbeaten in their last three games.

The Clarets are set to utilise their full youth squad over the two games, with several members of the under-16s set to figure on Saturday.
