Jeff Hendrick's stunning volley against Bournemouth at Turf Moor last season has been shortlisted for goal of 2017 at the North West Football Awards.

The Clarets midfielder is one of nine contenders for the honour, which is voted for by the public ahead of the awards, on Monday, November 13.

Fans can now vote for the region’s best goal of the 2017 using a hashtag on Twitter.

Voting for Leesa Northwest Football Awards goal of the year award closes at 22:00 (10pm, GMT) on Monday, 13 November, when the winner will be presented at the awards ceremony itself.

To vote for their favourite goal, fans should mention @NWFAwards with the hashtag assigned to their selected favourite goal:

#NWFAGoalA - Elliott Bennett – BLACKBURN v Blackpool

First on the shortlist is Elliott Bennett’s huge goal for Blackburn from 30 yards out against Blackpool in the 4th round FA Cup tie in January. CLIP:

Jeff Hendrick’s world class volley that put Burnley 1-0 against Bournemouth in the league also makes the list. CLIP:

Youngster Tom Davies’ stunning first senior goal for Everton in a 4-0 win against Manchester City, in which he was named man of the match, has also made the shortlist. CLIP:

Also shortlisted is Emre Can’s breath-taking overhead kick goal against Watford. CLIP:

Manchester City’s Vincent Kompany proved even defenders can score ‘worldies’. His massive driven shot against Crystal Palace has made the list. CLIP:

Jill Scott’s belter of a goal in Manchester City Women’s 4-1 win over Birmingham City Ladies in this year’s Women’s FA Cup final is included on the list. CLIP:

#NWFAGoalG - Henrikh Mkhitaryan – MANCHESTER UNITED v Sunderland

Another contender is Henrikh Mkhitaryan, he made the impossible look easy with his sensational scorpion kick goal against Sunderland. CLIP:

Preston North End’s Jordan Hugill's sensational strike against Aston Villa has made the list too. Hugill looked Messi-esque when he tore up Villa’s defence with a huge run before a massive strike that flew into the net.  CLIP:

Finally but by no means least Nick Powell’s perfectly struck curled free kick that put Wigan 2-0 up against Blackburn makes the list. CLIP:
